Alonzo is the mascot of Snap! and BYOB. Alonzo was named after Alonzo Church, the mathematician who invented lambda calculus. Alonzo is a modified version of Gobo, one of Scratch's mascots, with a lambda (λ) shaped antenna. The Snap! developers were permitted by the Scratch Team to modify Gobo. While reading any thread in the Snap! Forums, scrolling down will reveal Alonzo on the far left side of the top bar; clicking him will navigate the user to the forum homepage.
